West Coast International College of English

Overview

West Coast International was the first English language college set up outside of Perth and prides itself on individual care and attention to each student who enrols. Gradating students are encouraged to stay connected by joining the College’s Facebook group and are given a whole lifestyle package to complement their studies whie they are enrolled.

Location

The College is located in Bunbury, just north of Perth, and is well served by efficient transport options. The region is well known for its natural beauty, which includes the beautiful beaches on the Indian ocean, Mediterranean climate and abundant native Australian wildlife. The pace is relaxed and casual and there is a wide variety of cultural, social and recreational activities available to make your stay in Bunbury interesting and enjoyable.

Campus

The Bunbury campus is set in pleasant, spacious coastal surrounds and offers modern classroom and library facilities, private study spaces, computer facilities and recreational areas. The campus is centrally located with easy access to the services and facilities of the local community.

Courses

The College’s General English and Exam Preparation courses are comprised of listening comprehension, conversational skill, clear pronunciation, grammatical accuracy, socio-cultural and socio-linguistic understanding, vocabulary, everyday reading and writing skills, general self-expression, and effective learning strategies.

The course is recognised by TAFE in Western Australia  and graduating students can move from the College to TAFE without needing an IELTS exam, though IELTS is still needed for university.

Enrolment

Students need to apply at least ten weeks before course start date to allow time for processing. AA Education Network can advise you of the right times and dates.

Student activities

College staff will assist students to access the recreational opportunities in the Bunbury area which include sporting and recreational clubs and community social and cultural groups.
